A little about me ... I'm a native Texan (yes, there are a few here and there) and Highland Village resident since 2002. My much, much better half and I were together since 1984, before her passing on June 20th, 2022.  Janet and I are very fortunate to have a super-daughter, who received her first degree from Texas A&M in 2014 and most recently a Masters in 2018. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have had Janet and to have Laura in my life.

I don't drink, don't smoke, and don't gamble. Kinda boring, but I'd like to stick around as long as I can. In the meantime, my vices would be my addictions to Formula 1 racing and UNC basketball. I grew up (?) in Charlotte, N.C. where basketball Coach Dean Smith and NASCAR were kings and miss my friends back 'home', but there's nothing quite like Texas, is there?

Since 2012, I have enjoyed so many great times with great people, helping them capture great images. Along the way, I have been fortunate to achieve certifications and degrees, including attaining Councilor, Photographic Craftsman, Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), and CPP Liaison with the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) plus Fellow and President Elect with the Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA). Numerous articles have been published by The Photographer Magazine, with an eye on helping others looking to improve their education and what they deliver to their clients. I have also been recognized as the Best of Flower Mound in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023, and Best of Denton County in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022!

You can join me every-other-month as I host the recurring TPPA Zoom event 'What's New in Lightroom?', a 1-hour look at the latest updates to Adobe's Lightroom Classic and its variations. It's a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, get answers and improve your workflow!

My work has been featured on over 100 covers and feature stories for Chansen Media, Frisco Life and Murray Media publications, serving the towns and cities of Highland Village, Flower Mound, Lantana, Lewisville, Coppell, Las Colinas, Denton, Corinth, Keller, Southlake, and Grapevine. I've also had great sessions with clients in San Antonio, the Hill Country, College Station, Houston and many others.
