'Natural' Light vs Flash vs High Speed Synch. What?
There are a lot of photographers who call themselves 'natural light' photographers. In most cases, those same folks either don't have or don't know how to use flash. Then there are those who use flash, whether that's indoors or using portable lights on location. And there's a third segment who use flash and a seldom used technique of high speed sync (aka hypersync).
In this article, Derrel Ho-Shing shows great examples of each, and if you listen closely, you'll hear why he may choose one over another. Enjoy!
p.s. here's a good example of a 'natural light' photographer, Lisa Holloway
